Celebrate Oregon's achievements with carnival attractions, live music, livestock competitions, and fair food. Despite the cancellation of The Beach Boys concert, the fair continues through Labor Day with plenty of family-friendly activities.
Cornlandia at The Maize
*Aug. 30-Oct. 31 on Sauvie Island*
Get a jump on fall at The Pumpkin Patch's annual corn maze, themed "Cornlandia" as a tribute to the Pacific Northwest. The attraction opens Saturday and runs through Halloween.
Reggae Rise Up Oregon Festival
*Aug. 29-31 in Redmond*
This three-day festival at the Deschutes County Fairgrounds features Damian Marley, Stephan Marley, Cypress Hill, and other reggae and hip-hop artists. The event includes camping, art installations, and live performances in a scenic outdoor setting.
Albina Music Trust End of Summer Jam
Aug. 30 at Clyde's Prime Rib
This free, all-ages event features two stages of live jazz and soul performances alongside the "Wall to Wall Soul" historical exhibit celebrating Albina's music heritage. The festival continues a tradition that began in the late 1970s.
